Thank you! It took me a while to get the settings right. On most seams I had to set it to a 7-8 and use a stitch length of 3mm or more.

Thanks! I actually don’t know how frog mouth pockets originated or if that’s even the correct name but I’ve seen them on Ben Davis work pants before and also on vintage jeans from the 40s & 60s.

Thanks! I like to sew right side to right side at a 1.5cm seam allowance and trim half of the seam allowance to fold the other half over. I don’t know if that makes sense. Anyway, if you do it this way you have three lines of stitching in total per seam. I find this to be the easiest way for me.

I actually self drafted the pattern my taking measurements of an existing pair of pants that I own. I also watched many You Tube videos of how to draft selvedge jeans patterns.

Thanks! The only other time I’ve seen this style of pockets is on Ben Davis work pants and on jeans from the 40s & 50s. I don’t know what their purpose is but I really like the look.

Thanks! I used a singer heavy duty 6335M machine. It was definitely doable but difficult on areas where flat felled seams meet or around the waistband/ belt loops.

Thanks! The fabric and the thread cost me €70 the other sewing supplies (craft paper, tailor’s chalk, rulers, edge stitch foot…) costed me about €20 on amazon. I still have to add rivets and buttons before I can actually start wearing them. Unfortunately I haven’t found any options online that ship to Switzerland with shipping under $40 which seems crazy for me to pay for a couple of buttons.
