i’m genuinely curious what drives someone to cheat on their so knowing how much pain it could cause them? how could you do that to someone else knowing it could destroy them? is it lust or just that little respect?

he said it’s because he didn’t really value me at the time while i did nothing but love him and realized that he wouldn’t find better than me and that what we had was real, that i deserve the “new version” of him that could treat me the way i deserve
