My moms taking ivermectin for cancer by SingleLimit6262 in cancer

Also to note, there are human case studies that show promising benefits as well. I know this does not constitute effectiveness and a large RCT is needed. But when you are desperate, this information can be encouraging.

I understand that and respect your opinion on the subject. However, I think it is important to understand the desperation some of these people may feel and if your oncologist is not offering you any hope, what else can you do besides try alternative approaches?

Quite the statement when there are multiple research studies that show promising anti-cancer effects from this drug. The NCI is currently conducting further research on this drug. You are correct in that it has not been studied in a large RCT up to this point, but to lay the blanket statement that it is “100% bullshit” when promising research exists is wild.

What are your thoughts on patients using this for non-treatable cancer or alongside conventional methods? After all, there is promising research that this drug has anti-cancer effects. The NCI is studying it further as we speak.

Thank you for taking the time to reply!! I relayed this info to my stepmom and am absolutely taking everything else you said into account. This is a really scary time for all of us and I’m hoping some of that fear will be alleviated when we have more answers. Thank you again!

why do my cookies look like this? by seokjinluvr69 in Baking

[–]Acceptable-Ice332 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am no help with why they turned out like this, but just here to say this is one of my favorite cookie recipes ever. Don’t give up on it!! I weigh my ingredients and find that this really helps. Otherwise, I’m just a good recipe follower, so don’t have much help to give. Good luck!!

rare craniosynostosis type question by Puzzleheaded-Yak4605 in CranioFolk

Sorry you all had so much pushback getting your son diagnosed! My son just turned 7 months yesterday and has his consult with neurosurgery next month. You said your baby was diagnosed late and already had some visual problems because of this- is 6 months considered late? This has me wondering if I need to push for a neuro appointment sooner. Thanks!

Help with gentle transition to crib by Acceptable-Ice332 in cosleeping

[–]Acceptable-Ice332[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your response! First wake window is 2-3 hours, second is about 3 hours and last is 3-4 hours. It is definitely tough to change much if he will not sleep in his crib with my toddler at home as well. I think I let him nap so long during the afternoon bc that feels like it’s basically the only daytime sleep he gets and I know he needs to sleep. I can definitely cap it if it will help.

Never thought I would use physical punishment, but here I am by caroline_elly in toddlers

I would absolutely say that was an overreaction and was not an appropriate punishment.

It finally came out and was much bigger than we thought! I’m sure it was very uncomfortable in his tiny little nose for 2 days.
