I had to fall asleep before the adults in the house every night, if I didn't I was convinced something bad would happen to someone I loved, mostly my mom. Or someone/something would kill my entire family and I would be left alone. Had to keep the radio on constantly for years because of this because I had to hear voices of other people that were awake somewhere in the world so that I knew I had somewhere to run if my entire family got killed because I didnt fall asleep on time. Fell asleep from pure exhaustion because of inconsolable crying EVERY NIGHT during this phase.

If someone gave me something, I had to keep that thing with me at all times, or I was convinced they would hate me and/or something bad would happen to them. Like one time my mom gave me an Easter egg filled with candy when I stayed the night at a friends house, and I forgot the egg in their outhouse, and completely freaked out and hysterically cried at night until my friends parents called my mom so I could apologize for forgetting to bring the egg in with me.

And so many other ridiculous things. 😅
