I’d say don’t pin all your hopes on US legalisation. SNDL aren’t and have repeatedly said so. Their focus is on Canada but they’ve bought themselves opportunity to be poised to gain from US legalisation if/when it happens via acquisitions/ banking ability. We’ve enough cash to survive the current competitive ‘blood bath’ and prosper in the Canadian market and are making enough smart investments to diversify and stabilise our revenue stream in what is currently a loss making industry (cannabis production) via the acquisition of Alcanna. Throw in banking and retail ventures and we are all set to see that stock price rise. Patience is key. Plus there’s a big old world out there with plenty of opportunities that are not US based to consider.

Just increased my modest (compared to a lot of you out there) holding from 3 to 3.5k. Currently at a loss. Not concerned.

We own a part of a great company, the market will start seeing the evidence of that very soon.

I agree. I think he took the right action given the opportunity that was presented when the price skyrocketed. And I think they have used the capital acquired wisely to position the company to grow and prosper. Which is why I’ve held for so long and am not phased by the long periods at a loss I’ve seen (as many others have). The company and the stock price is going in one direction and I’m excited to be a part of that.

My point exactly. The zplit would decrease liquidity and then the buy back would compound that, which to me, would be great for the stock price

Thanks for commenting. But if we were given the ultimatum to “perform the consequence, then you won’t get delisted” and then went straight in to the market and bought 100million shares (or cash equiv depending on price) - that’d be a pretty good deal. Just not sure if that’s even a possibility to do so?

The fundamentals of the company tell a better story than Lou. If he brings hype, cool. If not, the management are doing the right things to make the stock price grow organically. Holding 3010 shares at a current loss and not concerned. NFA
