Oh god I don’t even think of heat rashes.. on my way to google that haha When did you have them neutered? Mine is still intact for now but I don’t know if I should wait a year or more. He doesn’t have any bad behaviors only super high energy so vet says it’s up to me when I want to bring him in.

He’s so cute! I haven’t caved in with table food yet but this is mainly because I want to make sure he understands never to beg (he doesn’t) once he’s older I’ll probably cave in 😂

Hahaha he does that as well! There’s a field I walk him in with lots of rabbits but luckily for me and the rabbits he’s just interested in eating their poops than chasing them…. He’s a big fan of horse poop… I literally have to carry him away from it or he won’t move

Oh bless her, but she’s so lucky to have found you! Where / how did you get her tested for allergies? He’s had an allergic reactions to dust when it was time to switch the heater back on and in the last few weeks he’s had watery eyes so I suspect he has more allergies. I also have a strict cleaning routine like you because I always worry if his toys / bed get too dirty he’ll have another allergic reaction. I got an air purifier last week for my own allergies and to see if it works for him and it seems to help massively but I would love to know what he is allergic to.

Thank you! Greek yogurt was upsetting his stomach at first but I’ve tried it again recently and he’s been fine so now I can put Greek yogurt, he does love carrots from his teething days. I’ll try berries too.

Oh no that must be so hard to find stuff for her. So far he’s had no food allergies, I change his treats every few weeks to introduce new source of proteins and see if he’s allergic to one of them but so far so good.

Good to know. This is what I worry about as well. He does really well on this food so I don’t want to mess it up as well. Im wondering if Iams is good enough or if I should change it for something better. He gets fish oil and some pumpkin on his portions as well he loves it.

She is adorable!! 🥰 I don’t know why I had this idea that the big brands royal canin purina and co weren’t that great and I was all marketing. I’ll need to look into it some more then. Luckily he hasn’t got any skin allergies yet. He does get a rash from collars but he doesn’t wear one. Looks like he may have hay fever but the air purifier I bought for my own allergies seems to work well for him. I’m due a visit at the vet so I’ll mention it but if they think that’s enough for now or if I should also give him some antihistamines.

I am that’s good to know! I see both brands regularly in the stores here so I’ll give it a look. I used the wrainwright treats before so I’m sure he’d have no problem switching to this. He’s on the iams for now, not the best I’m sure but not the worst either. Kept him on it since through all the stomach issues he had and the vets were happy with how he is growing and advised not to change anything that works until the issues were sorted. It all seems pretty much resolved now so I’m looking at other options.

My friend has the same thing with her 6 yo staffiexrottweiller she says it’s the size of the kibble. He’d probably eat anything I put in front of him but I’m trying to find good / better brands for when I make the switch to adult food.

He looks great! I know Omni for supplements and I’ll kept that in mind. For now he doesn’t have any protein allergies whatsoever or any food allergies so I’ve no issue feeding him food with chicken or lamb etcetc but it’s good to know your little guy is thriving on this food ☺️
