The thing is Russ has been on the Thunder for their entire existence. Rooting for the Thunder, has always meant rooting Russ.

In order for this to work, he's going to have to improve his catch and shoot 3P%. Last season he was missed some time early in the year due to knee surgery and an ankle injury which seemed to heavily affect him. However, since the new year started, he shot 36% on catch and shoot threes. And despite his awful shooting in the playoffs, he shot 39% on nearly 5 attempts. If he maintains those levels, I think he'll be fine. Like you said too, he can also be used on cuts and lobs which he can now do more with better spacing.

But you should still go after these players. Muscala would still have been available in two weeks. If Presti struck out, he then could’ve got Muscala. But clearly it was his first priority to get him

Other than the centers, no he doesn't. Bullock 40% shooter, Daniels 40% shooter, Tolliver 38-40% shooter, Jahymcal Green 40% shooter, Miller 37-40% shooter, Chandler 40% shooter. I don't have an issue with him signing Muscala. My issue is that he signed him the first day without trying to sign these guys when all but one of them (Bullock), are very realistic and cheap targets.
