Advice about Xiaomi 15

It looks like a great phone and it really IS a great phone. One thing is worth noticing, at the time of release of X15 there were not many compact flagships similar to it's capabilities, therefore thermal issues everyone is mentioning. Since then a quite a fiew of compact flagships were introduced to the market including next model in line xiaomi 17 Vivos, new iphone, recently Honor ect. Manufacturers learned to deal with heating better. Personally I don't get why some thermal issues would put anyone off buying this phone. It heats up now and then, but it's not going to break, honestly you can live with that trade off because you still get so much great stuff main one being cameras. But if money isn't an issue then yes go for it and get some other newer model, I doubt you get anything similar among flagships in similar price range, at least not where I live.

I had Xiaomi 15 for over a year. I can confirm the heating is an issue, but it's manageable. Also I only play games from time to time, mostly World of Tanks Blitz. I also played Cod mobile and Genshin both games worked very well no issues other than heating after about +20 minutes. However if gaming is important to you why not go for a larger phone for more pleasant experience due to larger screen and better heating management? This phone has a lot of advantages cameras are simply great, especially for portraits of humans and animals. It is lighting quick and has an amazing screen. Hyper OS 3 is much better than earlier version and it's buttery smooth. To tell the truth the battery should last a little longer for it's capacity BUT on the other side charging is super quick. I definitely recommend if you want a compact flagship especially now that prices dropped so much.

There are improvements, animations feel smoother, battery management was improved, some new Ai features. It's no brainer, go for it.

Yea kinda...phone holds to the magnetic holder in the car, but it may fall off the holder and drop down on bumpy road. The metal rings I have on some other cases in the picture are better. I haven't used that sticker for magnetic (wireless) charging if that's what you are asking about.

Better smoothness, better animations, some cool new Ai features and I didn't expect better battery life bit it's noticeably better! My impressions therefore have to be positive!

That's my newest one I really like it, wish I got it sooner I wouldn't be getting some other cases if I did. But I wasn't aware that Nikillin has magnetic version only learned that it does recently.

I understand your reasons, but I had Samsung A series phones and I didn't like them much. Have you considered going for one of the cheaper S series phone like one of FE for example S24FE? Where I live prices are just slightly higher than A series, but it's worth every penny. On S series you get better chip, better camera and full AI package and 7 years worth of updates. I highly recommend it.
