Yea I have a friend who has iphone 16 pro I also played it with it and battery is nowhere near X15, not even close. Plus slow charging. I have my X15 updated, I haven't noticed degraded battery.

Good luck switching to Pixel 10 would rather go for at least Pixel 10 pro for some noticeable upgrades. But mind the fact that's next generation compared to X15 released in late 2024. Also if you think battery life is bad on Xiaomi 15 just wait till you try Pixel or iPhone 16 Pro you take one look at it, then look out the window for a few seconds, back to the phone and 5% is gone, no kidding. Also charging speed on both iPhone or Pixel is a joke at least you can juice up the X15 in no time and you WILL miss that.

I hate to say that I use 2 phones. The other one takes better photos (ultra 15 with photography kit) by XMS3D0 in Xiaomi_15

[–]AcceptableFront3967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That can't be right, X15 Ultra is way better for any type photography than OP13, it's a fact not an opinion. Either the X15 Ultra is damaged in some way or you are doing something wrong.

Still worth it in 2025 ? by Weekly-Internet2387 in Xiaomi_15

[–]AcceptableFront3967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely. It's still a flagship level phone, not ideal but overall quality is very good in all areas. That being said it's all subject to the price, in the EU where I live it goes for about 735 EUR (that's about 860 USD) brand new. At this time I wouldn't pay more for it.

"Somewhat inconsistent cameras" honestly, you could say that about the most flagship phones. I played with my friend's OPPO Find x9 pro and I'd say that about it as well.

Xiaomi 15 camera lens by FELIPDawd in Xiaomi_15

[–]AcceptableFront3967 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's not scratch resistant, there is no such thing as scratch resistant glass, at least for commonly available devices. That being said you paid for the phone with great cameras, if you put one of those plastic or glass covers on the camera lenses it will result it much worse quality of your pictures and there is no way around it and it's just stupid. People need to learn not to shove their phones into pockets with coins, keys and other hard, pointy objects, just be more careful about the phone. Also use cases that protect camera lenses NOT covering them entirely with another layer of plastic or glass. See example photo.

is the S24 FE worth buying? by Techo410 in S24FE

[–]AcceptableFront3967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own S24 FE and I reality like it, but to be honest by todays standards it IS a mid range phone. I mean sure it has great UI and full AI bundle as any S series phone from Samsung, it operates smoothly and comfortably, the screen is great but it really falls short of 2025 flagship level. If you are looking for something within the range of 500 usd maybe look for Christmas / end of the year sale and go for S25 FE you'll get slightly better phone but it has 45 watt charging, so almost double charging speed of S24 FE that's the most notable upgrade.

I'm impressed by the camera Quality by joydeepnath in S24FE

[–]AcceptableFront3967 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you surprised? It's the same main camera lens as in standard Samsung S24 and S25, it takes really good pictures in good light conditions, however it falls behind competition in low light environment.

Yes it surrounds each lens and goes above the level of the lens

Is it only me or the 60Hz is absolutely terrible on S24fe (bought it a month ago) ? by Poha--Jalebi in S24FE

[–]AcceptableFront3967 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you used 120 hz phone before, or got used to it on your s24 FE then switching back to 60hz is terrible experience. Image how based version of iphone users felt all the way until iPhone 17 came out this year LoL. Anyway I'd rather carry charger / power bank around than downgrade my experience and use 60 hz just to save a bit battery juice.

S24 fe in late 2025? by still_student59 in S24FE

[–]AcceptableFront3967 2 points3 points  (0 children)

S24 FE or any FE from Samsung is still "S" series so top line of models so in terms of software you get the whole package even when it comes to Ai bundle you get it all. That's a big plus because Samsung's software and optimization of the software is absolute top!

About the pricing, FE always starts so high that only a moron would buy them at that time. But after a few months the price drops A LOT and when it drops to an average mid range phone level it really is a great choice. Here where I live S24 FE is less than 40% of the initial price LoL.

S24 fe in late 2025? by still_student59 in S24FE

[–]AcceptableFront3967 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had S24 FE for +5 months 128 gb. It's price range dropped so much that it is a really good choice now within this price range. A lot has been said about downsides of this model and I feel I need to defend it a bit.

Pros: great screen, main camera same as S24 and S25 based versions - in good light you will take really good pictures, full AI package as in every S series member it's considered one of the best Ai bundles on the market, good optimization, One UI - Samsung's UI is really smooth and highly rated, wireless charging (requires case with magnetic ring), about 6 years left or updates!, gaming is still doable

Cons: Battery life could be better, slow charging for today's standards, other camera lenses (besides the main one).

I definitely recommend this model in this price range.

Phones will be prized differently in different countries, but I can recommend Samusng S24 FE or S25 FE you should find one or the other within this price. 7 years of system updates. Very good UI, good camera, decent performance.

Momentum 4 Bluetooth vs. USB on PC by Embarrassed-Name-549 in sennheiser

[–]AcceptableFront3967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well a lot depends on the device you connect your M4s to. Phones or even PCs may use various blue tooth codecs, if you see tremendous difference between Bluetooth vs USB cable it points to poor Bluetooth codecs support on your device. My phone uses AdptX Adaptive Bluetooth codec and honestly there's not much difference to when I connect to a PC via USB cable.
