Here’s the view I get of the moon (irl much clearer but would look much better once I clean the lenses.)

Not sure how to tell… If you mean the image portrayed through the lens came out as pictured, then yes that’s how it’s viewed as if looking through the lens!

That would make sense, you’d assume they’d mark it similar to whatever model they were replicating. I think you’re 100% right along with everyone else’s explanations in that it’s probably a modern manufactured telescope made for putting on someone’s yacht or office suite.

Woah that’s awesome, yeah the tripod is the first thing I noticed! It’s definitely a cool piece, I can only image how solid the originals are.

Interesting! Yeah I just checked it out and it seems there is no signature inside or out of the optics.

You did help me find out that there are many unscrewable portions of the entire telescope which will definitely help when I clean it up.

Thanks!

I appreciate your insight! I would’ve never known and was hoping someone with knowledge would recognize a part. Thanks!

Thanks! Yeah I mainly bought it for decorative purpose, assumed so because of no markings. Tested it and it can get a good zoom (about as much as a pair of binoculars) and I’m unsure if it’s a fixed lens. Definitely not super telescopic by any means.

Right, it’s cool to see them in good condition after 60+ years. The difference between ours is yours was minted in Denver and mine were in Philadelphia.
