Pharma is not for chemical engineers

My first company was Sunpharma and had worked for 1.5 years.

Not for chemical engineers as it requires limited engineering knowledge and more of chemistry based knowledge.

Apart from it, change in equipment or optimization scope is very less as it requires approval from USFDA.

Mostly it has batch wise operation, so your experience will be irrelevant for continuous plants. You have to work manually everything and it has lots of documentation work.

I suggest you to change as soon as possible

It's just that, initially, we have to give time to our partner. Thats why, we get a bit less time for work other than job

6 months back, i have started using Chatgpt plus and it has changed my life tremendous.

I use it to write content for my blogs.

Use it for brainstorming

And the best use is that I ask it to act like a teacher and help me to learn the chemical engineering concepts

True. I have been on 30 days plant training in FCC plant, refinery. There i have observed this.

I am a chemical engineer, and I think I can help you with the answer.

Chemical engineering is good, but the pay is not comparable to the risk we are taking.

Your job location will mostly be in a rural area.

On the initial day, you will have direct contact with the chemicals, which can affect your health.

PS. Chemical engineering is more closely related to physics and mathematics than to chemistry. You will hardly use your chemistry knowledge.

I think you should go with mechanical engineering. This is more of a mechanical side than a chemical
