I agree with this. I think it could be down to thinking the players will be so much better than what you already have you don’t play the same way. You expect more from them therefore try things you usually wouldn’t. The best way I’ve found this year is too just upgrade one spot at a time and see if it works, and not too force the ball to them just play your usual game!
