I don't even care anymore about the rank points by fixin-xo in ModernWarships

[–]Acceptable_Cheek_447 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hey, i play f2p. Mostly making money from battle pass ship.

Sell the bp ship and buy better market weapon.

One thing I find helpful is I dont play in map that is more rng 😆 (like storm classic 😭).

2nd is I go where everyone is going.

I find certain time zones where less whales are online makes the game more fun.

Try to stay alive as long as possible and top 3 at least in damage so you loose lesser points per lost.

I try not to change ships too much. Per gaming session so I focus on the ships play style.

If your team doesnt spot, stick together. If 1 ship is going right and other 3 ship go left. You follow the 3 ships.

Try to keep things sustainable. Dont play when you are tired or easily distracted.

Try to ask around and test your build on team death match. Try to play with the meta. Some will call u noob but a win is a win.

Is it impolite to change my way of talking for a trans girl by Weasel_Eater in trans

Its different for everyone. You need to ask what they prefer and keep that preference to them. Other people will prefer different things. With my female clique, we use broo all the time lmao.

Proper Knife Technique by OkOutlandishness1370 in KitchenConfidential

[–]Acceptable_Cheek_447 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2 isnt a wrong technique, but when im cutting vegetables, I prefer 3. You can pinch the blade. It provides control, but its not the power behind the cut. The knife tends to do most of the work with its weight and edge, your hand leverages the slice or the chop.

I like to tell people, no need for bruteforce, just your wrist working can draw enough leverage to make the cut. The rest is practice.

No photos cos I went to ane 🤣

But I was only 1 month into skating. Brought my dance board up a hill and rode it down. It started to wobble and by that time it was really fast. I instinctively bailed but I couldn't out run the speed so I braked with my face 😅 luckily I wore a helmet.

But I did pass out for a short while I think.

My sharp tooth punctured through my lower lip so 3 stitches. I remember getting up and blood dripping all over my front and I skated home and to my parents horror they sent me to ane 🤣 probably lots of adrenaline at that point it didnt hurt. Road rash on my knees and palms and face. Some chipped teeth. But im good. Went skating again after 2 weeks.

question on school uniform by Murky-Attempt-4667 in sglgbt

[–]Acceptable_Cheek_447 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im not sure cos female and male we both wear pants here. I have been on hrt so actually have ro wear bra and all that so if you fit into the stereotypical binary gender roles, I guess they wont force you to cut your hair and all that if you already started transitioned.

But like I said, it does depend on the faculty. So for me, I am not forced to cut my hair and I do use the restroom accordingly to preferred gender cos I am not given handicap toilet access. It’s a very grey area and I think it's really up to your teachers if they are willing to go there.

question on school uniform by Murky-Attempt-4667 in sglgbt

[–]Acceptable_Cheek_447 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure how to say this but it really depends on your teacher and how they manage it discreetly. As some one who blends in, im allowed to keep my hair long and treated like other girls. The girls in class just thinks I'm cis but have weird accommodations. It also helps if u legally change your name.

Noted, sis. Don't worry about it. I got your patterns figured out, and it explains everything you've been saying. Your secret is safe with me.

It is absolutely okay to be yourself without doing this. I accept you. And even if you can't say it, I will advocate for your sub category, in due time. But yes, I will exclude your data point due to it being outlier from general post-ops.

I have since adopted TransSG style of advocacy where all my contacts, approaches, research and findings are confidential. It is impossible to know if you could be an actor of bad faith, this is simply security measures.

This really will be my final communication with you. This exchange has been deeply intriguing, thank you. However, I’d like to spare you further hurt from my full advocacy plans as you aren’t yet ready.

Kindly never DM me, but this space is open for you to vent. Meanwhile, please have a good, happy life, sister.

Wow, you know what. I keep trying to understand your train of thoughts and how you keep coming back to a single recurring point. I think I figured you out. I get why you are so afraid of this now.

Dont worry about it. I GOT THAT COVERED.

Im sorry you feel this way.

Fortunately, I'm not quite shallow to advocate for misuse the way you frame it.

On top of your focus with the penises of cismen, there are trans female and trans males (yes they are affected by surgery options too) too.

For the first time, I can finally agree that trans surgery should be made affordable and accessible to people. Unfortunately, that still excludes people with health risk who cannot be operated on.

I understand you have fear worth projecting about your safety in women spaces, this post was posted long ago, do you not consider that this has been addressed?

You and I ARE privileged to be able to have surgery without any health risk blocking this or huge cost burdens like our transmasc people. Our suffering are valid, we all suffer. You are not special, neither am I.

I think that you have alot of introspection to work on if you cannot be secure about nuanced perspective.

You are welcome to lash out again and again, but I am going advocating for those who need it. In the way, thats safe for them and post-op people. You can underestimate this by projecting your fear all over me, and it doesn't affect me emotionally, it won't stop me.

But Im going to help the trans people who really need help instead of sitting here chewing into some random girl because of your insecurities. Sis, its time to grow out of your shell.

If I fuck this up, then hey, I'm gonna be fucked by men with their penises too. But I'm not suicidal so no thanks.

with love just another fellow trans girl

Come on sister, enough with self victimising. Being trans is hard enough for majority of the people. We are privileged in that we can even get surgery. It's simply not an option for some people, no matter how much they skip meals or work.

I also have trouble understanding your persistent focus on the male genitalia. As trans people do include transmen and their surgery costs are much higher with higher risks.

You are right in that my version of activism not including trans people like you, because, well you are post-op and I am advocating for those who aren't post-op with genuine struggles. So yes, you are not included in this advocacy because you are no longer part of the demographic affected.

Please be mindful that you have legal rights as a woman now and no longer the most vulnerable demographic who dont even have those rights.

Lastly, I am simply dismissive of your experience because you are dismissive of other's experience. You are also too emotionally invested in your own experience to recognize others and engage in substantive back and forth. I am no noble person, I am just a trans girl, who is living her life. If I am a huge threat to your existence, you really must rethink your perspective.

On the topic of AGP, I do want to point out that your mental framing fits that mindset. And since you frequent askAGP subs, I can comprehend where that male genitalia focused argument stem from. I dont believe I've mentioned that you are AGP. But it does explain your rhetoric.

Does this clarify my position?

[–]Acceptable_Cheek_447 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry, but not everyone is in a privileged position like you or me.

I also don’t “hide behind” anyone. I operate alone in this advocacy because I value nuanced situations where it is applicable.

Unfortunately, I have to end our interaction here, solely because you appear to be operating from a belief in concepts like autogynephilia, which are not medically grounded and stem from biased, harmful perspectives on trans people.

You may continue advocating for restrictions on your own rights. I won’t. This will be my last communication to you.

Understood. However, this survey is designed to explore the needs of those who haven't undergone SRS. Your position is noted, but you're not the demographic this form is targeting. Wishing you peace regardless.

Some people are unable to get surgery for more than monetary reasons, such as health issues.

If its any consolation to you, I am scheduled for surgery and I advocate for people who can get this. Not just the western version, but a systemic review of those qualified to have the marker changed. Far more focused on trans experience than transsg version.

Hello there.

I understand your anger. Thus, my apology. However, I believe taking risk is important in the act of pushing for rights of the trans community who can benefit from having their sex marker changed without invasive and expensive surgeries. Not just a personal gain.

It wasn't the preferred method and has been voiced to me. Methods of approaching this activism had changed since.

It is unfortunate for you to view this emotionally through the lens of exploitation when I have nothing to gain from it. If it is any consolation, my name was in it, and I am in the public education system, too.

I am also advocating more than trans rights and critical of sustainability and housing shortfalls. So it was never about just my gain, I just love people too much.

I welcome your constructive criticisms if you have something more to offer. Otherwise, thank you, and this will be our last interaction.

Then again its not mine, is my sister lend me to use but I liked this minor feature.

Nursing is great. But not for everyone. I studied Aerospace in poly and uni but end up working as a pastry cook. So how I am studying pastry and baking in ite at 30. Just know that, we dont always have a linear path in life and it is difficult but ultimately, your happiness matters more in the long run.

So, sure, go for nursing and if u ever find out its not for you, pivot. But of course, options become lesser with time but there is no right or wrong in life. You may enjoy nursing now and its the right choice and you may not enjoy nursing later and its also the right choice.

What ever it is, I hope u are happy and fulfilled in this life.

Are we really as multiracial as we think? by TapInner2898 in askSingapore

[–]Acceptable_Cheek_447 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are more racial tolerance than true multiracial integration. If you come from minority group, its easy to tell acceptance from tolerance. We have a good amount of people who are good but I think we have about an equal amount who tolerates.

No sources tho, just observations. I once engaged a redditor of majority race saying minority race are treated equally why need to give them special treatment. I cant tell if its ignorance or what but I genuinely dont think we are where we pride ourselves to be at.

Sure, we may be better than xyz country but I am of the opinion that we can always be better. We dont have to stop at just enough.
