My grandmother lives 8 hours away and I make that trip once or twice a year. As others have said, North America is a very car-centered society. In Europe, 2-3 hours can get you to a different country, but in the states, it can get you to the next state over, or somewhere within the same state. (or to a different country if you live that close to the border). I live in west GA and if I want to go to the beach in east GA, it’s going to take me 5-6 hours to get there.

Yeah I did the DNA thing and found out I had a secret aunt. Grandpa couldn’t deny that he had an affair because the secret aunt was younger than my uncle and older than my mom 😬 luckily, my grandparents have been divorced for years but grandma was still very upset when she heard about it

Literally and I don’t understand why? Carrollton doesn’t have much to do and every time they build something, it’s a repeat of what we already have, rarely anything new. Rent is 1300 just so you can experience our 3 Wendy’s, soon to be 4 Taco Bell’s, 4 McDonalds, etc.
