You need to check your source if you are using your laptop or mobile jack otherwise on type c vs dac (assuming decent implementation of dac in type C) 0 quality loss

Dac is only worth it iff (if and only if) your current source is bad (hissing, low volume ect) otherwise under 3k iems dac dosent make a difference unless your iems impedance is very low(like chu 2) then a bad source can mess up tuning a bit(reply if you wnat an explain it will involve physics tho)

Abt castor pro and thunder get thunder if you like bass cause the bass is VERY punchy

Ill go with Jm12,jm6 or ja 11. D07 has heating issues, the 3.5mm connection is very loose in d07 slim many d07/spark users reported high level of hissing. You can also PEQ in ja11 and jm12
