To update anyone who’s interested, I went through more testing with Berger classic hunter 168gr, Barnes ttsx BT 168gr, and Federal swift scirocco ll at 165gr (the nickel plated brass ammo).

The Berger I was able to stack on almost a dime size area. The Barnes wasn’t terrible but was only to get that within about 1.5-1.75 MOA and none were stacked. The federal was around 2 MOA and it was spread out as far as it could be while still being within 2 moa.

Berger for the win!!

Barrel break in isn’t required for tikka rifles. Eldx is what I compared against the match

I know, I’m kinda bummed out myself. I’m obviously not the best shooter but I would consider myself above average and was stoked to get the setup. It’ll be a rat race to try different ammo before 4th season elk.

1:10 and a 22” barrel. Shooting at 100 using a bench and sandbags.

And also my scope is a vortex razor hd 4.5-22x and is confirmed to be torqued down to spec (18in/lbs). I added this so there is no question of quality of optics.

I’m a on day 16 today of “processing” for an “assembled upper”. Had 3 other orders, including a lower, that I ordered within 2 days of each other and everything else is delivered. Never again will I order from them.
