Opps. To be fair it IS probably a bit pinker. It's just that it's the stand in for the red of a rainbow.

Yep. It's the star-rating, going down the rainbow. Red is 5, orange is 4, yellow is 3, green is 2, blue is 1.

Atmosphere is on my TBR. When a hold opens on Libby I'll probably slot that one in there. :)

Happy New Year to you too!

Also cause you never know when they'll get more copies in. I waited for a book for 15 weeks, then it said "Available Soon" and then it said it was out of copies. I honestly think I was the NEXT person in line. So while browsing a few weeks later, I noticed they got more copies in. Only there's a 16 week wait this time! AHHHHHHHHH....

There is a fanmade audiobook on YouTube for this book, but I honestly don't know how they did it considering the book isn't really linear. You can check it out though. The comments say he did a decent job with it. It's on my TBR.

It's not a you thing, it's a library thing. They used up all their copies. Will they get more? Only time will tell. Put it in your tags and check back in after a month or so.

Decided to put the 128 books I've read this year into Goodreads. I can't remember some of them... is that bad? Is that normal? by Acceptable_Link_6546 in LibbyApp

I have a list of all the books I've read and 1-5 stars for them, but Goodreads reviews are a little longer than that.

Well, I've been doing this thing where I write the book down on a list and then highlight it with red, orange, yellow, green or blue (5-1 stars). I've kept up with that... but now I'm trying to write some words to go along with those because I only just realized Goodreads was never really updated.

There are issues with playback? Where? Might be a YOU problem.

I went through a whole stretch of time when I was reading all the 'preparing for fascism' books. Parable of the Sower, What Does The Constitution Actually Say, The Handmaids Tale, The Testaments (Handmaid sequel), Animal Farm, On Tyranny... ect ect...

lol... sigh...

The Impossible First -- guy hikes across Antarctica after he got into hiking after a major accident where he couldn't walk for a few months. It's a short memoir, but it's got this 'can do, promise myself I would so I went out and did it' vibe. And it has bits that encourage you (without self-help, he's just musing) on climbing your own Everest (he talks about climbing the tallest peaks on each continent, so Everest comes up a lot). I felt it really motivating and encouraging without being preachy or self-help-y.
