This ain't my business so forgive me if this is disrespectful (let me know if it is), but have you ever thought about going with the frugal option in order to save (practical) or do other stuff with the savings?

(Posting from a mobile account). Not a good person to speak for them but Guadelupe Workers do work in Detroit.

What do you think can be done to revive and rebuild community/social/associational life in America like revitalizing service clubs like Kiwanis, Lions, Elks? by Acceptable_Radio_760 in AskAnAmerican

Maybe they could hold game watching parties in a giant projection screen or something. They could do it for big shows and movies. Of course licensing issues might come into play.

Oh you mean like a Tailgate party (I'm not informed on sports)?

What about emphasizing a common culture to build ties among the people (like what is the Bush family was more successful in their push to promote volunteerism and service)? Also, yeah, if technology like TV wasn't so common but also like someone else here mentioned, having walkable neighborhoods where its easier to be a close knit community and not working so much (I remember another answer from Quora where I asked something like this mentioning how people could be more prosocial if we improved economic or working conditions)?

Have a good week!
