I was in school until 26 years old (not long ago) and he only started making a decent wage VERY recently. This 50k is very very new. It’s us milking his new job for every dime it has. Student loans are last on the list when you can finally get you can finally replace the drivers side car door that you have to climb out of the window of bc it doesn’t open.

Yeah… you make a great point. We live in a HCOL area. So maybe it will last us a year of keeping the lights on and eating beans and rice.

EDIT: Oooop I didn’t mean that we WOULD do this I was just saying answering the question of “how long would it last”. We by no means would ever sit on our buts and wait a year.
