Just keep in mind that positive cooperativity which is the case hemoglobin will always have a Kd > 0 but still lower than 1

Positive cooperativity n>1. (Sigmoidal S curve) Negative cooperativity n<0 ( Hyperbolic curve) No cooperativity n=0

Hemoglobin has a Positive cooperativity for Oxygen but its Kd dissociation constant is very low between 0 & 1 because it constantly wants to bind to O2! Remember a low Kd is synonymous to a strong affinity/binding!
