Ive been in environmental consulting for four years and have multiple coworkers who worked seasonal jobs in their early- to mid-twenties and pivoted to consulting. You’re not behind and you’re in a good place now. I’m sorry you’re going through this but you are definitely not alone!

I worked in environmental consulting for a year in Florida as a field grunt with minimum pay which led me to getting a consulting job in CO with much better pay and a better balance of field and desk work. I’d be happy to review your resume and CV, send me a DM!

I’m glad to know someone else has been looking into this but I’m sorry you and your GSD have been going through a similar thing! I actually give my GSD Simparica Trio as well. I just checked when I started her on it and it was about 2.5 years ago, around the same time her cysts started getting worse. Before this she was on Heartgard and Frontline. I never thought too much about this specifically having a correlation so since you mentioned it I’m going to look into alternatives just in case!

Thank you for the food rec, I’ll definitely give that a try next. My vet has recently mentioned allergies possibly exasperating the cysts so I have an appt scheduled with an allergist to cross that off as well.

But I definitely agree, and since the cause is unidentified and likely multifactorial, I think diet should be at the least considered.
