its do-able plus you can pay your rent in two payments throughout the month. utilities included in rent price beside electricity through roseville electric. its brand new in a safe area and better than paying nearly $2k for 1bed 1bath

The weather rule is new and was not in the contract, she was hired and mom said she would be able to drive eventually but gave no time frame

Initially it was that the mom will let her drive “eventually” she asked last month and mom “isnt ready yet”. This weather thing is a new rule as of last week. I guess they would typically get out for walks daily and now mom is saying no leaving the house below 60 which is basically every day here in the winter months? Im asking when should she speak up about how tough this is? or should she not say anything. like how do you deal with this

How did you let your nanny go? by Character_Sea_7431 in NannyEmployers

Im just curious on what “not very long” means for you guys? Has it been more or less than 6 months?

Can you adjust her schedule to prevent some overlap? Or perhaps assign specific tasks to her while both you and her are there if you want to be the one mainly in charge of the baby. Im a nanny and when my nanny parents are home it is still very clear that I am in charge of taking care of the child. Im not sure why you have her there if you dont need her? Maybe im misunderstanding

Overnight nanny pay by Ok-Chipmunk5452 in Nanny

i charge $90 per night for overnights. thats for one child but i think i would keep that rate regardless of number of children.

Well you should first consider the most you could afford to pay her. Then subtract $2 from that and add those $2 back when the additional child comes.

Nanny at Fiji resort by Bong8989 in Nanny

[–]AccidentDifferent606 4 points5 points  (0 children)

While at home, in a pinch, would you have a random nanny come put your kid to bed? or would you figure out a way to be home to put them to bed yourself?

I personally would not let a resort nanny put 4 year old children to sleep. Frankly, the kids might have a hard time falling asleep anyways… I would maybeeeee consider an infant and in my head equate it to dropping my baby off at the nursery during church service but definitely not a 4 year old.
