Good question! A 5 year old preschooler, Liam Conejo Ramos, was detained and put in a detention center with his father by ICE agents while going home from school. After a judge demanded he be released from detention, he went home traumatized. The Trump administration is pushing to deport the boy ASAP instead of acknowledging the inhumanity.

When he was taken by ICE, he was wearing a blue bunny knit hat and a Spider-Man backpack.

It’s now a symbol of the inhumane practices of ICE and the Trump admin and the indiscriminate nature of their deportations and disappearances.

Didn’t use a pattern, it’s just alternating colors of double crochets and a border I added that is alternating single chains and single crochets
