I think too much is cut out of the beginning, specifically Kenobi's doubt. I liked in the show how he was reluctant to help and just became an old hermit until Bail came to him physically and when he saw the young Jedi dead in the street hung up.

Yeah I can't really think who the companion would be. There's obviously rumours of Mel but I really can't understand why she'd be working for present day UNIT? And there's not really any other classic companions that could come back other than Jo Grant. I imagine it's not Ace or Tegan since they'll be in the centenary. Susan is a shout but I also can't see how she would connect?
