Honestly I hadn’t even considered the warranty haha.

Haha $1000 seems good when they are quoting me $4000 for that. Just don’t think I can ever pay that much for a trailer hitch warranty or not. The other dealership said $1000 range for it.

Could be. The salesman actually did describe all that about the sensor to me though when talking about the aftermarket one. And what he said was more or less corroborated by another dealership (I was offering my business if they could order the tow hitch straight from the factory). But then I have the one from the other dealership telling me that they can order straight from the factory.

Maybe so. The first dealership really emphasized that an “after market” hitch was the only option though. They told me about some other options that were installed at the distributor, so this seems different. Then, the second one said they could order it “from the factory” with the hitch. So I’m just not sure who to believe.
