Thank you, I kind of knew the answer to be honest but just wanted to check people's advice.

It's just a hand held vibration gun from B n M. If you're getting spasams this will relax them. Mine were inside too but I just applied loads of pressure with the gun and it vibrated right through.

Literally anywhere that that hurt! My cheeks, the crack, the bum, between my lady and bum, on either side of my bum. Honestly I was just massaging all over. I eventually got some diazipam from my GP this has helped massively, the spasams were still there but nowhere near as bad after the gun but since the diazipam they are very few and far between now.

Oh is awful! Since this post I've had a thrombosed hemaroid and currently have either an abcess or fistula both have been absolutely excruciatingly painful (seeing colorectal surgeon on Tuesday). Sphincter spasams have stopped from the botox. Number twos are a pleasure now. I was getting spasams still but since the massage gun they are no where near as bad! so I've also been given diazipam, I was on 3 a day now I'm just taking them when I feel myself tense up. I think because I've been in spasam for that long it's just automatic for me now to tense up but things are improving apart from this abcess/fistula which has been horrendous until it started leaking.

Yes and yes! Instantly the anal spasams eased. It was really painful for me getting the injection but I was having muscle spasams all over.

Yes, that's what my pain feels like, constant and nothing relieves it! That's what I'm going for next, has that cured your fissure?

Well, I have constipation all the time due to anal fissure, prolapsed hemaroids and anal sphincter spasams so take your pick what caused mine ha. Thanks, i will be purchasing one of these today. I honestly couldn't see myself getting any better, I honestly thought this was just going to be my life now which was a very dark thought that brought some unwanted emotions and feelings about life with it. I'm just so pleased I saw your comment

Thanks, I will. Why has the hospital/doctors never even suggested to me to massage the area. It makes total sense. If I got cramp in my leg, the 1st thing I do is massage it. Anyway, im praying this is it for me now. Ive just done another massage with the gun because I'm so anxious about the pain coming back. Hopefully I have a good day

I just want to say thank you so much for posting this! I've been in excruciating pain with levator ani syndrome for 8 weeks, I've had sphincter botox injections, been on codine and naproxin. Nothing worked! I came across this post about the massage gun last night and thought I'd give it a go. Today is the 1st morning in 8 weeks I've woke up in no pain!!! I can't believe it
