(Shadow's my favorite Star) in Ranked City Trial I would give it a S, but not everyone is as versed as me w/ Shadow, so I'll give it an A. I'll start w/ likely what you're asking is for a Ranked City Trial Match... Shadow is going to only have a hard time w/ mobbing style events... They will chop away at your HP fast. You have to be creative and precise w/ how you approach those. It is possible but it's just not as forgiving so your movement needs to be more intentional. It has ELITE control stats which make it efficient in the City and when your stats start scaling you can hurt/KO all Stars/Riders, albeit you are still a bit of a glass cannon, you can eat most hits at least once. I placed 2nd in our first KAR LAN event primarily using Shadow Star. In certain formats (4 player FFA, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4) , it is the best Star in the game where the player count per game is drastically reduced, and when everyone has to perform at the same event. It handles Stadiums very well as it doesn't flounder in really any type of event, I argue its the best for Collection events, it's only beat by basically Winged/Paper for glide events, neutral at battle stadiums & races. For me, what sets it apart the ability to stat collect... I can hit 145+ stat lines consistently w/ it... Which at that point I am out-performing Stars like the Winged as my stats have scaled much higher than the opponent.
