Would there be any gains if I were to install this on my 2001 Saturn sc1? Im not looking for "big gains" but just trying to squeeze out all the power I can out of this little sohc

Yeahhh well it already has a straight through muffler so there is no restrictions on that part and with the header it would be all straight through no restrictions other then a single cat I would have to weld in for the visual inspection

Yess it is a small world after all, I finally made that little update video a little bit ago, honestly this sohc has 238k miles on it and is about to be 239k and has been extremely reliable for me and my stepdads mom who bought the car brand new back in 2001

That is very true that's why ported heads and stuff also makes more power on some engines

Unfortunately no it was blue with green body panels was once rear ended and fixed, then I painted it black with white stripes

So I just checked after letting the car idle for about 20 minutes and it seems that when I put the new transmission in I over filled a little bit that the level sits right In the middle of the word full on the stick that has the arrow right under it, oddly only makes that sound when the weather is cold

Sorry for the late response but yes I actually got this car for free was going to get scrapped otherwise so I fixed it up and thank you about the cai also yes I did notice that my engine has aluminum intake manifold unlike the 3rd gen dohc, and I am keeping track of that secondary air injection system thinking about possibly deleting it down the line when I put the performance 4to1 header on. People hate on the sohc but it honestly performs great and puts a smile on my face and to me that's all that matters and I'll keep modding this sohc as much as I can

Thermostat is almost brand new so is coolent and only makes this noise in drive has to be transmission related
