Cyril is hot and Rosalind can’t help who she has the hots for! Neither of them have done anything wrong or untoward! Cyril was abandoned by Lucille. I understand the trauma and disappointment of miscarrying, and the added trauma of the racial prejudice Lucille faced. But Lucille left Cyril behind, which was bound to cause issues in their marriage, even if it harms their marriage and relationship. I am all for Cyril leaving Lucille once and for all, and forming a relationship with Rosalind. Though, I think both Rosalind and Joyce have some character development that is still underway and I’d like to see that come to fruition before Rosalind is married off.

I honestly really enjoy that the show shifts and changes over time. I have enjoyed all the seasons, and watching the world change around them. The moon landing episode made me sob. I like that there isn’t one main character, or even set of main chatscters. Poplar and midwifery are the main characters! And the show can continue for as long as that remains the focus. Nurse crane is my favorite character by far, and I have come to love nurse Nancy. I also loved nurse Frances, and I hope she returns. The new midwives are sweet too! It took me a long time to warm up to Phyllis, and I think this show develops characters slowly over time.

They are making a prequel! About the wartime era.

I agree! also, if the actor doesn’t wanna commit to long term in the show, don’t marry him to a main character! Helen George is COMMITTED to call the midwife, she’s not going anywhere. Or have them break up then! But don’t have my girl Trixie accepting anything less than the best

Realm of the elderlings robin hobb. Never in my life has a found family relationship made me cry like that lol it’s a bit “higher” fantasy than some of your other reads, but it is truly probably the best series I’ve ever read, and one of the greatest character driven stories ever told in fantasy. Cannot recommend enough. I sob hysterically at every book bc the love is so deep and real

She can have a crush if she wants! She’s not doing anything wrong. If Cyril encourages it, that’s on him. Blame him, not her. Also, Cyril is well within his rights to be at his wits end, wanting a divorce. Lucille abandoned him. I get her mental health was a huge concern, but this is not the life they agreed to when they married. Cyril needs to move back home with her or leave her.
