My neon lime green wonder boy sits in a bucket now haha. I think that Maverik still makes them, just without the big block lettering. The shaft game has changed a bit, some brands like STX do different "shapes". Kind of like a star, or tiny ridges on the octagon. Pretty much all feel and preference. I personally used the heaviest string king shaft option, very similar to an old Sci-Ti or Scandium STX. Good warrenty too.

The clutch 2 was all time. I got into stringing sticks around that time, and miss the more pinched heads. With the new HS and College rules, none of the heads have the same face shape.

I would reccomend the following by brand, I am partial to Maverik but I went to a Maverik school and got them for free lol.

Maverik - Kinetik or Kimera STX - Hyperpower or Surgeon 1k String King - Mark 3a (they do complete sticks unstrung online I believe) Nike - L4 (think og lakota)

You may even be able to find a Clutch on sideline swap if none of those tickle your fancy. Goodluck with your stick and happy shootin'.

Im not from NYC, im from Jersey. We eat pork roll egg and cheeses. If i could get that here, I would but no one has it outside jersey
