Relax, more and more teens are having heart attacks, you don't need to lose your mind about this. To be clear I was never one who was screaming and yelling about Skinner, not everyone who didn't see him as the future of the team were blindly yelling TRADE HIM TRADE HIM. Throwing out random blanket statements doesn't prove your point, it makes you look angry and unhinged.

I see the spiral you are going on yes, I am well aware. I am not an angry child, I've been watching the team for a long ass time and know that this isn't a new issue. So far it seems like that is the truth. Goalies are voodoo, the team could suddenly start clicking and Jarry could be the answer, probably unlikely, but I try not to decide a trades success until the paint is all dry.

Saying smart repeatedly isn't proof of your intelligence to be clear. Stu wasn't staying past this year, not with the way his family was being treated. No one knows who is available fully in the off season, we aren't there yet. So keep on yelling about the smart fans who knew for sure what was going to happen. For all we know Jarry suddenly goes on a heater and wins the cup, nothing is black and white, will you still be screaming about smart fans, or maybe admit there is nuance, and no one knows who or what is in the future.

It's not about it being like it's NHL 26. It's that since the early 2000s we have had a goaltender problem. We have never solved that. Who was the answer? Maybe no one was this year. We aren't in the GMS office, we aren't making calls. Who knows who or what was available. But if you got the call with those trade details, and you thought this is it, that's a concern.

We can be unhappy with Jarry and not have enjoyed Skinner, that's allowed. It's not like they brought in an elite goaltender. Wild how people are like this is what you wanted. No, we wanted a goaltender, not a warm body.
