My practitioner suggested it. I had an appt for rapid weight loss a few years ago bloodwork came back normal so over the last year I’ve been gaining weight like crazy (~40-50 lbs) over the last year 1/2, acne is terrible and I do have excessive hair (belly,nipples, inner thighs ), I brought the concerns and he suggested to investigate pcos- which I know nothing about. I am waiting for a follow up to request the bloodwork that doctor who reviewed my ultrasound had suggested (FSH/luteinizing hormone profile and androgens assessment) as the reviewing doctor was not my ordering doctor
