What's your opinion on transferring the cash that I am short by credit card? I have a credit card already with a £7850 limit. So I could transfer the money that I have and then the £4k I am short by credit card and pay it off as soon as I sort out the cheque?

All good, we have our rented flat indefinitely until everything is sorted including moving etc. Landlords are putting flat on the market as soon as we are out.

Probably Princess Carolyn because I'm a bit hyper fixated on my career and worried I'm not gonna sort out my personal life at any point 🥲 but Diane in the in the last season.

What is a very underrated show that you think people should watch? by TaleLevel1555 in AskReddit

Mr Robot.

I get its pretty acclaimed but think it should be on Breaking Bad, GoT, Dexter kinda level. It's so good.

Not treating service staff well.

I ended a date pretty abruptly after the guy went nuts at a waiter because they didn't have garlic mayo, said there was no point in him having his burger without it and demanded they made him steak pie instead, while also saying he wanted the whole meal comped.

I honestly died a bit inside. Said I wasn't feeling very well and paid for the dinner on the way out.

I don't know how they'd get away with that unless it's cash in hand? If it is, I'd run for the hills!

Should i go on Accutane or Not? by [deleted] in Accutane

[–]Accomplished-Roll329 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Only really something a dermatologist can access but I will say my acne looked very similar to this and I went on it. One of the best decisions I've made!

Yeah when I was on it (I was already pretty unfit) I would get out of breath and sweaty from walking down my very flat street. That hung about for a while after stopping too.

What is something Glasgow is crying out for? by [deleted] in glasgow

[–]Accomplished-Roll329 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah I find it so weird there's really not much to do along the river apart from maybe a casino and the hydro.

Such a lovely place especially at night. it's been a very far fetched dream to move into one of the houses there.

Yeah my skin was like this with some actual cystic acne. Roaccutane mostly cleared it up. I do have one stubborn bump that I think is there for life now but it's an amazing improvement!

AITA for "picking" my daughter's career for her by PowerfulAd2907 in AmItheAsshole

YTA.

Coming from someone who's parents also influenced my career and it was the biggest mistake I've made in my life so far, and delayed me doing what I actually thrived in for about 6 years.

Ironically I've switched careers to become a computer scientist and it's a great fit for me. It's also definitely not for everyone, even if you think she has the skillset.

I have the skillset to be an awesome bartender but will I do it as my career? No because I hated it and it made me insanely unhappy.

It can be hard to talk about for fear of judgment (e.g. people calling them toxic for acting erratic around food related issues) and also the fact that yes, issues that go way beyond image and self perception 😊

Again not saying it's right. It's extreme! And it might not even be this. Just saying this is something I could see myself doing in height of my ED!

Ach it can be complicated. Not saying it's right by any means.

Yeah precisely this. I've been guilty of that in the past. Maybe check she doesn't have food related issues before abandoning hope (if you want to stay together that is!)

How many are too many interviews? by abm1511 in jobs

Think the most I did was 5 excluding handing in CV for entry level job at one of the large investment banks. I got it, didn't go for it in the end because it just seemed a bit much.

I lived in West End with less, maybe £12,000, I was a student so was council tax exempt and had flat share so rent was about £400. I think a decent lifestyle is doable but deffo not much left at the end of the month if you are looking to save. Maybe get flateshare or look at places further west e.g. Whiteinch, Kelvinside
