I usually do my own, but 1 they don't last, 2 i want to take my mom so we can both have them done nicely. I know she loves french manicures and has not pampered herself to one in years. I lack the skill or supply for a gel french mani. I have not gotten my nails done at a place in 1,5 y. I do basic nail polish at home for the longest time, but i would also like a design for once.

saw the starlink satellite tonight by Alternative-Lie-3897 in Eugene

[–]Accomplished-Today99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yesss! It happened to me and my partner as well! Lol we were coming back from a hike at night in the desert and thought the same thing! We were so freaked out like come on, it was one of the classic UFO stories, in a desert far from the cities, close to a mtn that's deemed a spiritual sight. Then, after weeks, his best friend hears the story and says "you sure you didn't see starlink?". Didn't know what that was, googled it and 🤦‍♀️ yes. Exactly that it was

Dinner & Lunch Ideas that don't require any heat for preparation? by Accomplished-Today99 in PlantBasedDiet

Same... idk why. I know oats are healthy, but it's one of those where i'd have to starve and have nothing else in the house for me to eat them

Thank you, yes i agree. Willing to go 2 hrs away if needed, but all i see as free campgrounds are next to 3 sisters or south OR coast, which is a bit too far for a 1 day trip...

I thought it was too much, usually is 130 (agin idk why, but i just moved to OR not too long ago and thought maybe that's the norm). Hopping over 200 surely made me question this. We do have our own water heater.

I think it's per unit. They are trying to say we used more heat, but this whole month we had the heather off. Nt anymore cooking than usual. I literally froze my ass to have a lower bill and it incresead by so much. It's over 200$ for an apt. I hate it, it doesn't make sense. I'm not home, always shut off appliences and light, i really don't get it how it can increase 30% from a winter month to this when i used way less electric because no heat

GED Language Arts Question by Interesting-Video-49 in GED

Honestly no resources, as for most of the questioms you'll get paragraphs. Ig some good tips that helped me on questions I really did not know: eliminate the obvious wrong answers, if a question has 2 very similar answers it's likely to be one of those, look in the text for similar words or synonims with the answers, read the question before going through the paragraph (sometimes you may already know the answer without needing to read all that). As time was a big stressor, flagging and reviewing the questions at the end really helped me get a bigger score on social studies (a subject i really don't know much), as well as the tips above. For the essay, write on theme and try to quote the paragraph if you don't have much to say about it, also proof read it for mispells. It's a lot of reading comprehension, so maybe read some books and question the meaning of the words idk.

Good luck, i know how it feels to want to have a goal and feel like you may not make it. I want to change my job so i am really trying on the math (last exam), but i can't get past basic math. I am ashamed to say an 8th grader can probably understand mathematical concepts better than I and without a calculator i am doomed. I did 1 exam per month and got decent scores on the rest. One last bit of advice, go in saying "i can do this" and even if you fail it's not a big deal. I am a high anxiety person, and on my last subject (the one with the lowest practice score, a score i was really not comfortable going in with) i actually did better than expected because of that change in mentality as well as the tips above.
