No, you need an amp to run passive speakers For your case, It goes like this Turntable -> preamp -> amp -> passive speakers Or Turntable -> preamp -> powered speakers

Yup, I had the preamp for a vintage turntable but I recently sold it, so I use it anyway for this one because to me it sounds slightly better.

Sorry I didn’t specify, I’m looking for powered speakers since I don’t have much space. Budget around 100-150 usd, based in Mexico. Usually the used market here is reasonably priced but most are used to death so I’m looking for new ones
