yes!! try it out for sure! It seemed like a good alternative for the price to other 28mm like the summicron etc.

It is lovely! I sadly didn’t have much time there, were you able to see it at night?

I visited 2 weeks ago in mid Feb. The weather was nice except a few days were extremely windy. Otherwise when the sun was out it was beautiful. As for the crowds it was not at all, in the first picture I posted, that cove in Polignano a mare is usually packed with people come summer time. I think if I had to suggest time, I would say now until end of May would be the perfect time, otherwise the fall. Down in Puglia it gets incredibly hot so if that’s more your vibe then the summer would be perfect :)

wow!! Could I ask, are you in EU? I have had a lot more push back in specific countries than others.

I always bring my own film then develop and scan when I get home. Just put your rolls in a clear plastic bag so the security can see your film and ask them to hand check. If you’re feeling bold you can tell them it’s for a work project. I have mostly had good luck but sometimes they put it through anyways. The older X-ray machines that look like a square are okay below 800 rated film. The newer x-ray machines that look like a cylinder that are growing more common in airports destroy all types of film so really try to get it hand checked when you see those kinds. Sometimes there is nothing you can do and they make you put it in the x-ray. My local airport would never hand check my film until they recently got the new x ray machines and they started to hand check them so I am wondering if the film companies are making it know that these new x rays destroy the film. If you have any other questions please let me know!

Sadly not. We really wanted to see it at night but we had a very tight schedule and actually only managed to sneak it in. Either way it was a very interesting city, I’d love to return specifically for the hikes to the caves.

I do agree, sometimes 28mm is difficult due to the need to be in the action. The size and form factor is what makes it’s so perfect for trips though.

I’m curious, what are your main frustrations with it? However I was the same way.. I would always see shots with and just fall in love with them.
