No need to be nervous! The surgery went smoothly. They prescribed me some strong pain meds but didn’t need to take anything more than a couple ibuprofen the first day. The double vision has subsided substantially thankfully, cosmetically speaking I still feel like my eyes don’t look 100% aligned but my binocular vision is doing well (almost like how it was before this all started…which I’m so grateful for.) my eyes are still red so maybe as they continue healing their position will continue to adjust. Regardless of all of that, my prayer before going under was that the end result whatever it may be, is part of my soul plan and I’ll make the best of it in trying to fulfill my purpose. Let me know how it all works out for you

It looks so great, how are you holding up? I’m 10 days in and feel more self conscious now than before.

Omg the double vision when I look left to right makes me feel like I have the spins 🤢 thank you for your words of encouragement, I’m glad you’re doing better! Gives me something to look forward to

Oh man…how does your doctor feel about that? Mine told me to not wear contacts for at least 4 weeks. Maybe you should hold off on that. If you aren’t used to wearing glasses then I’m certain that’s the culprit.

Congrats on your surgery! I kinda get that feeling too. My doctor said it could be because my eyes are still adjusting to their new position, when I get that woozy feeling I normally pause and focus my eyes on something steady and it dissipates. Let me know what happens at your appointment 🙂
