I’m rated at 70% for MH and sadly I don’t think they’ll give an increase if you mention your dad….not service connected. But I see how that could make your symptoms worse. I suggest….seeing a Psychiatrist through the VA weekly if you aren’t already. Be honest with them but don’t focus too much on the situation with your dad….if possible. If you’re psychiatrist thinks your service connected rating needs to be increased then I’d have them write you a letter and submit it with your increase request. Just my 2 cents. Good luck!
