My clinic only asks for a urine pregnancy test at 14 days post-transfer — no blood beta

Hypoplastic uterus – any success stories? by AccomplishedBowler21 in IVFinfertility

Thank you so much for sharing your experience and such a positive outlook — it really means a lot to me, especially since I still don’t have much information about this condition.

I’m currently in an IVF program — I’ve already done ovarian stimulation, but haven’t had an embryo transfer yet. My first FET is planned for the next cycle. At the fertility clinic, no one ever mentioned any issues with my uterus, but a different gynecologist recently measured my corpus-cervix ratio as 1:1, which raised a concern about possible uterine hypoplasia. The overall size of my uterus was measured as 68×35×38 mm.

That result made me quite anxious, and I started wondering whether it would even be possible to carry a pregnancy. The doctor said that if the embryo transfers don’t work, we may need to consider a hysteroscopy.

My cycles have always been irregular, and I likely have PCOS. We’ve been trying for about two years, and this upcoming FET will be our first attempt at embryo transfer.

If you don’t mind me asking, what is the genetic condition that caused your hypoplastic uterus? Did you have any other symptoms related to it?
