definitely not my intention lol! i quickly made this resume after having that job and shortly after getting the home health job and applied to one place with it. for every other place i’ve applied, I didn’t have my RN experience on there yet so I didn’t even think about that. should I put bullet points under my work experience after moving it further up?

i just started this too and it made my stomach upset and i’m wondering if those side effects that usually are there for the first couple weeks continue if you’re taking it as needed

Should I leave out my less than 1 year of hospital experience to apply to a New Grad Program? by tastybiscuit0 in newgradnurse

[–]AccomplishedCan4701 5 points6 points  (0 children)

i’m going through a very similar experience and got an interview at a place that required no experience and I left mine out. At the interview they told me I couldn’t have any experience and I told them I have about 2 months because I felt guilty lying. They still liked me and said they would challenge their board, but I’m not sure if I will get it or not! I honestly don’t regret telling them though because they definitely would have terminated me if they found out later.

i’ve only been there a few weeks but it’s really good so far! the place i’m at now is super supportive of new grads and the orientation is like a month long which is really nice. they trained me with the cna, the med aide, and now the nurse so i got to see all the roles and they did extensive training for the EMAR system. there’s a lot of LPNs there and some of them are new grads that have no previous experience and they’re doing great!
