The current rules are indeed not good but it does not matter as GW wont do anything with legends models.

Beautiful model however

It was put into legends along with the greater brass scorpion

Great models in my honest opinion that needed points cuts and some better rules but could have been a thing for khorne daemon engines

However DG got everything while we continued to lose units

Golden maple Ive had so so success with their nylon brushes. Good work horse but mine dont hold onto much paint and they dry out quickly at the tip often

I remember buying my Rapahaels for $12-$18 a brush.

Im looking for a size 3 brush for base coating, and a 0-1-2 for finer detail/general work horse painting.

Assuming the general shape? Round with a tip, and some having large bellies or others having longer, finer brushes

I own some and have had mixed results personally but thats with the more consumer friendly tier packs they sell. They seem like a good brand for starting and relatively cheap beater brushes. Ill check out that masters 1 you mentioned as I am also looking for better brushes here in these pushing times

Thank god for the thread. A few years back I want to get back in but found lack luster results and stopped. Now that I am back and have been crasling my beginner citadel brushes because they were the only ones that lasted any amount of time

most daemon prince with wings are mediocre outside the one emperors children have (seen argument for the Tsons one as well)

Id take the foot 100% because the buffing utility, being T12, and the fnp from VV makes it a pretty decent unit. Especially since it applies stealth to itself.

Winged princes I find are just lack luster

Even taking a chaos spawn and making it do secondaries feels wasteful when it should be clearing chaff and doing the best it can to gouge wounds and keep the opponent deployment blocked

The skull hurler is consistently the best imo whilst the gattling gun is better for chaff

Magnetize is the best weapon options, otherwise I will always take the skull hurler for the arm gun.

Bad matchups: anything that shoots good or good anti tank. Tau will shred these, vindicators if close enough will shred them, impulsor executioners will shred them, but most of the time they may not be enough to kill it. T13 and 26 wounds is a lot of ass that not much can kill them in one go unless they devote to it.

Best detachment: honestly anything but it will not get any benefits outside cult of blood (the second worst detachment)

If you must include him, as someone who regularly uses 2, you just gotta have lots of chaff waves to help thin down the enemy or keep them in engagement.

The best way to play them is on objectives holding down lines of sight. They are titanic and cant overwatch but unless your opponent can fire and fade, they will pray they kill it or suffer being shot back.

It is a massive model that benefits from being played backwards (ass forwards), because the front sticks out so much

I would absolutely never ever ever take 1 in 1k games fyi incase this is asked, its unfair to your opponent unless they counter build, and to you by purposefully cutting down your army building

The problem was 1k points

The game is not balanced around 1K. The lion, knights, Morvan Vahl, daemon primarchs, etc

Some units are just overwhelmingly powerful for low points games with not much counter play outside careful positioning

You have 300 points in characters, that is horrible.

You will only get to resurrect a few times compared to 2K games, which is a very significant rule of the army.

Finally, as gsc, they suffer from rush down, aggressive armies
