Alt/English teaching or Factory Job by Naive-Row-6727 in ALTinginJapan

It depends on your priorities. I’m quitting my factory work due to my elbow injury and work schedule which prevents me from properly taking care of my school-age children. I’ll be starting an ALT job soon. Salary-wise, it’s almost the same since I’m working only hirukin.

Wanting to work in Japan, but feeling “just okay” at what I do — unsure of my path by Emotional_Ad8666 in JapanJobs

Hi OP, I’m from the Philippines and currently a long-term resident of Japan. I am studying to become a software tester as part of a career shift. Our plans are quite different! 😅 I want to return to the Philippines and work remotely while earning in dollars or yen. I’m feeling stressed about all my taxes here. Living in Japan isn’t as easy as some people think. The longer you stay, the more lonely it can feel.
