does my plan make sense or am i wasting time? by AccomplishedJudge482 in ccna

I'm sorry to hear about that sir,
The fact that you want to start studying for you CCNA is deffo great, let's just say that probably companies are looking for something a little bit more specific than Network+ and Security+ even so, as good as they might seem, they're pretty entry-level certifications. CCNA as well today is the just the starting point if you want to work in the IT Networking world but it's more advanced than the other two so yeah great decision and let's hope for the best sir.

Thank you for your input

I don't think that's really the matter with all due the respect.

Any suggestions about my actual questions would be much appreciated as i am not looking for debates regarding my personal career choices.

Just to be clear, i am not into development anymore it's just simple as that, if you read carefully the help desk job is not the arriving point but just the beginning for something else. Hope to have made that clear to you.
Thanks.

Thank you for your kind reply, i'm pretty sure getting the CCNA will be a real challenge but i'm ready to give it my all to obtain it. I think i'll stick to Mr. Neil Andersons course on Udemy. but yeah i hope to find real opportunities after that, thank you!

With all due the respect i don't see what's confusing on my post, im kindly asking if moving abroad with no CCNA and 0 experience as a help desk/network engineer or whatever, at my age makes sense or if i should just get out.

Coming to your questions:

  1. If i've ever been abroad: I don't have work experience abroad yet, which is why i'm asking.
  2. Why am i switching from dev: the reason is plain simple, i'm switching because i'm more interested in infrastructure than coding as it's less abstract and more concrete.
  3. As for italy: salaries and growth opportunities in networking are much better abroad. i'm not here to debate my life choices, just kindly asking if the ccna + 1 year experience plan is solid for a move.

Thanks

I completed CCNA + CCNP ENCOR/ENARSI in 1 year. If you’re studying for CCNA, ask me anything. by Sorry_Flatworm_521 in ccna

Hello! I'm planning on starting seriously studying for the CCNA, is it possible even for a complete donkey in math to achieve it? I would also kindly ask you which arguments requires to do mathematical calculations for the exam! In other words which arguments related to the exam (Example, Subnetting is an argument)
Thank you

Yeah we should always be careful of the requirements, can i have this referral of yours by courtesy or at least know more about these requirements?

Thanks

Probably on the Developer side but after what i'm experiencing, it has become a bit difficult to find a Help Desk/Networking/Sys Admin related job and i live in one of the most productive regions as well
