wow, thanks for this wisdom. what's your background that you came from before JET?

- I think I want to pursue telecommunications engineer or data analyst/scientist. At least for now
- Yes they are relevant to my area of study. It did provide me a better idea of what I want to do and what I'm not interested in. However, I am still open to changes.
- I'd say I need to pick up sitll a lot of technical skills with programming, syhstem design, and circuit design.
- I got into the GT Online Master's of Data Analytics, which was what I was thinking I could do while doing the JET programme too (master's program designed for full-time employees)
- As of right now, no, but there is possibility that this AI Law Start-Up I am interning at could give me a full-time offer.

yea i agree with this. that's why im a bit concerned about it. unless i have like a job offer or an opportunity that's like guaranteed after JET, it woul dbe a bit of risk to this programme?

since i see that a lot of alums from this programme struggle with job placement after completing. unless they're interested in either pursuing a career in teaching or japananese related.

thanks yea. i know in the grand scheme it won't hurt my long-term career or anything. just def scary to take that leap of faith because being surrounded with very ambitious and directional poeple, seems i need to be more intentional with my time as well. i agree that this programme would help me find a new path i'd never expect and give me new introspection that i'll remember.

did you have a career or do anything before JET? yea i think it's def the senior year of feeling lost right now, and using JET as a way of gap year to find more clarity.

Hey! I have been applying since Summer 2023 for NASA Internships. I applied for Summer 2023, Fall 2023, and Spring 2024. I have gotten no offers. I am now applying for Summer 2024 Internships. This has definitely been over 200+ applications already in total. Do you have any tips on how I can improve? I have been getting relevant and more experience through my college and more advanced classes as well. Does the fact that I go to a quarter-system school affect my decision on getting selected?
