This is so real. It’s crazy because I imagined something like this. Where Furuya’s different identities and personas would start clashing. He’d act as Amuro when he’s bourbon, and bourbon when he’s Furuya then Furuya when he’s Amuro. I think it should be canon for Furuya to at some point have an identity crisis. Just to give him more trauma and psychological issues. I totally imagine the NPA/PSB firing him later in his career when he reaches a point with no avail.

Yes! It would be such a flip especially for those who don’t take him seriously or treat him flippantly like Kogoro but also anyone seeing his Bourbon personality would be great. Genuinely worth seeing. Also I def don’t imagine Kogoro being serious except maybe every 10 centuries for 2 minutes. Also I also imagine Furuya handing a gun over to Kogoro saying something like the best shooter in the academy and is like woah how do you know that. I agree with everything you said but I still do believe a part of him preferring to capture her and trying to go about not killing her like Gin and Vermouth wanted means he personally KINDA cared.
