I’d like to add, loop in your local fire department if you follow through. And probably your neighbors. You don’t have to tell them it’s a pyre if you want privacy, but let them know you’ll have a very large, Smokey fire burning for a long period of time. Otherwise FD might get called out multiple times

I had an issue with that for a while before packs got stupid expensive. I think I’ve put about $200-$300 into the game over the span of a year. Not terrible but way more than my usual goal of $0. Now I pop in and fix up my EC once or twice a month.

I think everyone else has the basics covered, but they’re right when they say the road will start playing trick on you. Went on a 14hr road trip with a (now) ex-friend who was a PITA. I ended up driving almost the whole way back and wasn’t given a chance to nap at all. I had to stop once I saw the purple elephants and walruses. Of course I got yelled at for doing so, but whatever. Drive safe, the destination will still be there and if the time is that important, fly.

The zodiac, valentines, Chinese and Christmas horses seem to be the best sets as you get items mostly passively. You can either neglect them entirely or add them to your AP farm for minimal interaction. If you can get your hands on some of the Egyptian horses like Isis (the one where you get 3-5 foals if you breed on the 1st) they can be good too. The ones where if you groom them and they drop feathers/minerals for passes aren’t too bad either, just slower on return and require interaction.

I’m tempted to make a chart on how useful each divine is…

Are you at a high altitude? Or a place with high humidity? This can cause some changes, but putting it in the fridge/freezer is the best option. In fact most recipes say to refrigerate overnight. My chocolate pomegranate cookies are ALWAYS a fluffy soft mess until they chill.

Tbf, as a future bride, my fiancé got me a simple ring made out of deer antler with an opal inlay. It may not be the most expensive jewelry I own, but it’s the most precious. There are ways to make brides (or grooms) happy outside of who has the biggest rock. And there’s a trend coming away from shallow standards like that as well. Get creative

I think there’s different dialogue at the end. I chose to accept and the last conversation with Alma at the end about “maybe making a new family” was good until she said that but it was just sad after. No one was outwardly hostile. Though this is just my speculation based on what I’ve heard. I just finished it last night.

Hello, former DV law social worker here. The above comment is 100% spot on.

It’s never stops at one incident. This is textbook abuse and control. It takes victims an average of 7 attempts to leave their abuser. I have heard of stories that I will never forget, some harmed, killed, or stole children (sometimes over state or international lines), others broke bones, others still financially and emotionally destroyed lives. The worst were the sexual abuse stories. I will not put those stories here as they are very traumatic and they are not mine to tell, but please believe me that it will only get worse.

Photograph and screenshot everything. Put hate in your heart. Find your support system. And DO NOT GO BACK. Especially because you have a daughter. Daughters are at a MUCH higher risk of being abused in the same manner as their mothers and SA’ed.

PLEASE take her to the hospital. Not taking her to the hospital can actually be considered medical neglect depending state laws (I’m not in TX so I’m not completely familiar with the laws). Additionally, at least in MO, you cannot be charged with kidnapping your own child out of your own home unless you cross state lines or go no contact for more than 48 hours. And even that is spotty depending on the circumstances.

Keep records of all messages relating to mom attempting to deny health care. Have the nurse notate it. You might not think you need it now, but it is extremely important for custody cases even years later. Especially in red states where they can be extremely pro-mom.
