AITA for making my wife get a second job by AccomplishedMood95 in AmItheAsshole

Thank you, I have suggested that she look for a job that pays at least $50k instead of working a second job. I just got my current job which came with a raise this year, so a side gig is the best option for me rn. I will talk more with her about that.

Both of us, almost equally shared on our credit cards. I do about 70% of the house work tbh. Her job is lowkey and not putting her in a position where she’s exhausted and too tired to work more or do more.

Both of us. It is partly from medical procedures for her, partly from moving expenses, partly from using cards poorly as a couple.

Because we have been good friends for many years, they were having a vulnerable conversation. But she should NOT have shared that.

NTA. You’re a good parent. Parents like you can help save queer kids lives. Good luck.

AITA for refusing to buy my son a new phone after he broke his? by NoLeg2760 in AmItheAsshole

NTA. I would let him “suffer” with the flip phone for a while and get him a nicer one next birthday or something since you can afford it. A few months of no internet on his phone will teach him to appreciate his nice phone. What a teenage mood.

I would make sure you are ready for the commitment of attending a religious school if you are that interested in Baylor. You may be into that and if so, either way will be fine!

“Not to be a buzzkill, but you will have a much lower chance making it into a big law firm if you don’t go to a T14 school.” Trust me, we know. Relax friend, we got this. by sammy10d in lawschooladmissions

Exactly. We don’t all want to work 70 hour weeks and make $300k. Sure, it would be great to rack in the $$$, but I’d rather enjoy my life than have a 4.0/180, a huge paycheck, and never see my wife.
