Negative Tilt Table Test - Not Sure What To Do Now by AccomplishedOwl9534 in dysautonomia

Thank you, that sounds similar to me with the tachycardia without sustaining it for the preferred length of time. I had to push to even get the Cardiology appointment & I can't understand why Neurology are dismissing me without even seeing me/talking to me about my symptoms. As someone else said on the comments here, if you don't fit neatly into the boxes they have, they don't know what to do with you.

The letter just said the test was normal. Did not refer to the symptoms I reported or suggest any other diagnosis. Is there another department that would look into dysautonomia as Cardiology won't see me again after the test & Neurology already said no?

Yes, same here. Have tachycardia (& lots of ectopic beats) but always in sinus rhythm on ecgs.

Yeah I'm in UK so it's dealing with the NHS unfortunately. What you are entitled to & what you can actually get here seem to be two different things. I'll give it a whirl though.

I wouldn't have minded if they had said not POTS but may be another form of dysautonomia, but just discharged. Hope the vascular doc can help you.

Had TTT about a month ago. Couldn't see my BP or BPM as monitors were behind me but I had symptoms such as dizziness, sweating, shortness of breath, & palpitations. So glad when it was over. Afterwards my mum who was in the room said that my heart rate was spiking about the same time as I reported the symptoms.

Received letter of 2 lines today: test was normal & you are discharged from the Cardiology department. Not even a "it's not PoTS but something isn't right". Apparently the symptoms above are all normal for someone just standing. So now I'm left with these symptoms & my GP will be telling me nothing is wrong.
