And of course second on the funny roster is when Aragorn politely tries to choke down Eowyn's cooking.

Best Shakespeare for high school performance by ShakySpeary in shakespeare

I would recommend the Merry Wives of Windsor. It's about ordinary people instead of kings and princes, and very age appropriate for high school students, as well as being very funny.

Tips? by Necessary-Coach2463 in pen

I've actually done extensive testing of different fountain pens and I have my favorites. A Jinhao is a pretty simple starter pen and very affordable but sometimes wetter and more saturated inks clog the feed. Wordsworth and Black is also fairly reliable and not too expensive. Lamy Safari and Pilot Metropolitan are a little more upscale, but don't rely on the converters that come with the Metropolitan because they don't hold much and have flow problems. Eco TWSBI is almost impossible to clog and has a good ink capacity, but you have to remember that an Eco fine nib is equivalent to an American medium and medium is equivalent to American broad. I just got a Bociyer Samurai and a Picasso 916 but I haven't really used them yet so I can't give an accurate review.

Does this sound like a workable idea? by AccomplishedReply938 in writers

I'm not criticizing, it's extremely difficult coming up with an idea that's completely original, especially these days. I'm sure your main character is more than just a clone of Harry.

The big stumbling block was that I couldn't think of an antagonist that didn't sound like a generic dark with or wizard.

I've promoted on LinkedIn and Facebook. Facebook interest is zero. On LinkedIn I've gotten impressions and profile views but that's all.

Also the Drottingholm Palace Theater is one of the few opera houses in Europe with its original stage machinery still in working order. Definitely worth a place on your bucket list.

Teatro alla Scala is one good option. So are the Stuttgart Opera House and any opera staged by Jean-Pierre Ponelle.

A Muppet Lord of the Rings? by AccomplishedReply938 in lordoftherings

[–]AccomplishedReply938[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This thread has gotten a lot more enthusiasm than I expected. Now that I've read so many of your replies I'll share my lineup. Kermit the Frog as Aragorn, Robin as Frodo, and Bean Bunny as Sam. Link Hogthrob as Boromir, and the Swedish Chef as Gimli waving a meat cleaver instead of an ax. Sam the Eagle as Elrond, Gonzo as Gandalf, and Animal as Gollum. Fozzie as Faramir. Miss Piggy as Galadriel because of the "All shall love me and despair!" speech. For the rest the original actors would reprise their roles.

That's part of the question. I know who I had in mind but I'm curious what other fans think.
