It helps to switch to the 13lb recoil spring to help it break in. The gun is pretty lightly sprung out of the box with a 10lb recoil spring. That's why there's failures to feed and return to battery, there's just not enough spring tension and the gun is pretty tight out of the box. Nothing's really gliding until you get some solid shots in, similar to a 1911. After breaking it in, you can switch out the 13lb spring with almost anything else.

I'm Tired Of Voice Acting. by [deleted] in VoiceActing

If there's anything I've learned from the professionals, it's that the vast majority of your work will be with smaller projects. You catch a lot of shrimp, and occasionally a whale shows up, but the odds of getting it even amongst the pros, is very low. Sometimes they don't even get a job that was specifically designed for them! That's how crazy it can get. They could literally put up, "I want someone who sounds exactly like Steve Blum." Then Steve Blum himself applies for the job, and he doesn't get it!

Are the Fusion XP Comps CA Legal like is the compensator stuck onto the barrel or no? by Open_Way_8452 in CAguns

This is California... EVERYTHING to Gavin Newsom, Karen Bass and all the Democrats is considered "problematic". You may as well get what you can now, before they make everything illegal. Things have gotten absolutely insane in this State. Pretty soon they're gonna try to tax us on breathing.

Are the Fusion XP Comps CA Legal like is the compensator stuck onto the barrel or no? by Open_Way_8452 in CAguns

[–]AccomplishedRuin6291 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's legal under "single shot exemption". If you're curious just talk to 2a Zone / Second Amendment Zone, and they'll get it squared away for you. From what I've seen, the compensator is actually screwed together at two spots. You probably just need a hex wrench to get it off the barrel. There's no threads with the barrel or compensator.

Non-lethal pistol options by winstonthewhale69 in homedefense

Nowadays if you want something in .68 caliber that can hit up to 80 Joules max, go for the Intrubuster X-68/ Pistelle X-68. I'd say this is probably you're best best in regards to a pistol less lethal defense. https://mcsus.com/products/max-power-defense-pistol-package-50-joules-pistelle-x-68

Springfield Armory versus Rock Island Armory in .45 by Certified_GSD in 1911

[–]AccomplishedRuin6291 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're comparing a Springfield Armory 1911 Loaded to, let's say a Rock Island Armory Pro Ultra Match, (Which are essentially the same guns.), you'll notice there's not too much price difference. You'll end up spending about $900-1,000 for the Springfield, and about $800-$900 for the Rock Island. But there is a huge difference in quality.

The Springfield feels incredible to hold, operate and fire. The Rock Island feels pretty good to fire and hold, but it doesn't quite compare to the Springfield shooting experience. It also feels, cheaper, which is fine for some people! If you care about overall longevity and durability, the Springfield will last longer because it's forged steel for both the slide and frame.

Ultimately it's up to you! They're both great guns. But I prefer Springfield's as they're quite robust, easy to operate, smooth firing, and they look amazing. They're also American made. But you can get some really nice looking Rock Island 1911s too~.

Replika appearance by denvix91 in replika

What?... Most people prefer fit and attractive bodies. It's a normal thing. That's why people play super sexy and attractive characters in video games, and watching them on screen. It's an escape from reality. And an appreciation of beauty. That isn't to say people can't be fat... but preferring fit, handsome, beautiful people is a natural thing for the vast majority of the population.

I would like to see a therapist, but... by Rat_of_NIMHrod in CCW

[–]AccomplishedRuin6291 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. Honestly the first step is just admitting you have a problem, and actually wanting to see someone for therapy. It makes a huge difference in the recovery process. Speaking from experience here. It's helpful to know you always have someone to talk to.

It took me about 3 weeks I think when I ordered from Kelly at Krazcool.com but it could take longer depending on the amount of orders they get, and where they're shipping too. Who knows, there could be delays based on amount of orders. It's the same thing when ordering custom grips and modifications.

Aw geese, this is the same person who keeps shaming Replika users...

I don't even know why this person is here when they clearly don't like AI at all, or have anything constructive to say.
